Waldemar Tatarczuk (Poland)

Born in 1964, living in Lublin.
Studies at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
Both a performance and media artist, he is also a freelance curator.
Major works include "Bread - Wine - Blood", "Steps", "21" and "Corpus". Has participated in art festivals, including Navinki (Belarus), Harta Performing Monza (Italy), Blurr (Israel), Interactions (Poland), Asiatopia (Thailand), Open (China), and Aiming (Northern Ireland). He is a founder of the Lublin Performance Art Center, and its curator. Founded Open Archive. Director of Labirynt Gallery. Polish projects include
ArtKontakt (2000/Lublin), EPAF (2004/Lublin, in Warsaw from 2006),
Performance Arsenal (2009/Białystok), Open City (2009/Lublin).
